At camp I heard God calling me and I found that if you pray intentionally, God shows up. God spoke to me at camp. He was direct and helped me gain new understanding of scripture. Throughout the years of coming to Wanake I continually met God at camp. Wanake was a place where I refueled and reset. Camp helped me refocus and listen to God.”

I was given the space to ask questions during discussions around the campfire and in Bible study. Camp gave me a place and pace to build spiritual disciplines into my day. My love of travel came from all the international counselors who told me stories about their home countries. The camp experience helped shape my faith. Camp is where God became real to me.”
“There is true Christian community that comes with camp. Wanake allows campers to have the space apart from their daily routines and distractions to experience Christian community.
